About John Baker
John started his interactive agency career at Modem Media in the US in 1995. Two years later joined Organic in NY as Director of Business Development and, in 1999 moved to London to open an office taking it from start up to 100 people strong within two years. After merging with Agency.com during the contraction in 2002, John moved onto be Head of Digital Services at Proximity London and later promoted to a worldwide role championing digital marketing. In 2006, after a brief internet start-up in private aviation, John joined OgilvyOne as Managing Partner and Head of OgilvyInteractive in London. In 2008 he has returned to a more entrepreneurial role at iris as MD of iris Digital, working to grow the digital business inside the 500-person global independent integrated iris network.
