Is Purefold pure gold for brands or pure confusion?

Coming soon from Free Scott , the new entertainment venture of Ridley Scott and his brother Tony, is a trippy new sci-fi entertainment project called Purefold that plans to let brand’s sponsor the content, and let the audience drive the plot line using social networking platforms. Produced by Ag8, the...

Sounding off

Our lovely cousins at the RAB have made an online TV ad to promote radio advertising. The cheeky blighters have based it around our TV ad , but, as they don’t say much we’d disagree with, we have decided to take it as a tribute. Don’t forget to put the sound up. Our TV ad does strongly feature lines...

I love the new Pen camera ad from Olympus

It has been a while since a creative treatment has really made me stop and look again and again - the last one that really took my breath away was the Sony Bravia bouncing balls . This really feels that it is in that class, an absolutely beautiful stop-motion piece for Olympus for their Pen camera ....

Arsenal to offer fans replays at the Emirates through Sony PSP. But is it wise?

From next year Arsenal fans will be able to watch highlights of the match they are watching at the club’s Emirates stadium through Sony’s handheld games console the PSP. Fans will be able to watch the match on a five-second delay, the idea being that supporters needn’t miss out on replays they would...

Multi-Platform Viewing

If you own a Sony Bravia and have a web connection you will be able to see "Hancock" - a Will Smith super hero movie - before it is released on DVD. This is a Sony initiative and industry first and they are quoted as saying, "it’s about getting entertainment back into the living room....
