If not, you should be!

Wouldn't it be great if you could access all of your Favourites from any computer - work, home, PDA etc? Maybe somewhere that was personalised to you, where you chose what you liked. I scoured the internet for such a website. I couldn't find one, so I build my own - www.mygate.co.uk. What do people think? I'd love some feedback!

It's brand new. It has a tiny membership base as it's only been live for one month. 63 members to be precise. I'm looking to get over 200 users and then pitch the service to advertisers. With www.mygate.co.uk you, as users, are in control of the internet and this is also true for advertisers. Advertisers will get to control who they target their advertisements to like never before.

I am looking to grow this site big. Big enough to steal share from Google. It's a hefty aim but I think it might work with the right launch campaign. Has anybody got an advice for a new business looking to take on the big boys?

Re: PPC agencies

Hi Louise,

We'd be happy to help you, especially with PPC campaigns on social sites. and wish it could be removed, but thinking from the designing and promotion
perspective, i will not deny the important role banner ads play. It will not be
true to say that all banner ads are successful and do wonders for the website.
On the contrary, it is only simple, straight forward and intelligent ads that
are able to persuade the user to click on them.

Banner advertising is also a technique,
and like all other marketing techniques, this one also needs smart planning. I
agree with Rob, when he says that "Use
A-B testing on ads and pages, and focus ad spend on the media, keywords, ads and
landing pages that work the best. And that means maximising conversions
(sales/enquiries/goals/whatever you want to achieve) per £
invested."

Deepak

Rupiz Ads - Banner Advertising Company
