There must be a catch and yes there is. Get me a permanent job as either a Group Head or Creative Director in London and I will pay you half my monthly salary for two months. To keep things interesting, I will not work for less than £60k per year.

I don’t mind if you push one of your directors out of the window. I don’t care if you threaten to take your multi million account elsewhere and yes, sucking up to the board to get me the position is allowed. No matter who you are this is your chance to make sure you have the funds to spend next summer on a tropical island. To help you get started, please find some work samples and my cv on www.halfmysalary.com.

Oh, and there’s another catch. The money I’m talking about is half my net monthly income. Yes I know... I should have been an account handler. But don’t let that stop you…

Good luck!
Timo

Does this differ from larger agencies to smaller agencies?
Has the credit crunch effected this?

It definately helped me hit the ground running when I eventually nailed down a job!

Cheers!
I am currently employed as a Product
Manager in a company based in London that deals with properties exchange in
Europe.

While this is a very interesting
position and I have learned a lot, my wish is now to have a more
marketing/advertising orientated career. I have already studied marketing in
French business school for two years (Master’s Degrees in management – one in
tourism, the other one specialized in international hospitality - 2006). I
however think I need to be more trained and to learn more in this specific field
if I want to have a senior position in this department. I am currently seeking
the best option to achieve this goal. Do I need to pass another Master’s Degree
? Are short courses good enough ? Which London school or university would you
recommend ?

Thanks for reading me.

Every hints are welcome !

Regards,

Vanessa
