    i can understand why, but if you really get into twitter it can be a good business tool rather than a distraction like facebook

    i see what you mean, but adverts are so simple now that there is very little information on the ad, so how much difference would a phone number make! its one of the things i expect to see on the ad (because its how i've always known it) and so i wouldnt consider it clutter but a norm!

    i think thats a good point! but i'm also led to think - how much difference would that really make? leaving a phone number off a television advert or an outdoor ad wont save much money and not everyone is so dependent upon such devices, therefore, from the people who still requre that info you will still get responses and so is it not ...

    In reply to Nic: I think all the sony bravia ads are brilliant! and i dont think that it is necessary to highlight the wonders of the tv itself because the ad is there to say "colour like no other" which it does! its also there to provide entertainment, and the fact that just about everyone loves these ads and will therefore chase them ...
