  • Re: Should Tesco have listened to Hugh's views?

I watched all of the programs during the "chicken week" and I have to say, I didnt really make me want to purchase organic or free range, I grew up on a farm so I always knew how animals were killed, I've killed chickens and geese myself when it came to slaughter day (although all of ours were free range).  I think with current ...

  • Re: Was Heinz right to pull its male kiss Deli Mayo ad?

I find it completely bizarre and ludicrous that people would want an advert pulled when it shows a so called gay kiss, when they do the same on coronation street or hollyoaks.  I thought the UK had moved on from bigotry and racism but obviously not, this basically boils down to people not liking 2 men kiss, they can dress it up ...

  • Re: PRS - Taking the P*ss??

Yeah I understand where you are coming from but where I don't get it is if the radio stations are already paying their PRS licence fee, why should an office have to pay a fee again for listening to that radio station - we have the music so low in the background you can barely hear it as any louder it's unprofessional If we were a ...

  • RE: Panorama's Primark report pulls in 4.2m for BBC One

Hmm I know its sad and bad that kids work but I'm more concered that they will now starve as their families have no money to buy food or pay rent? I dunno much about this but they wouldn't do it if they didnt need too. I grew up on a farm so was out working the farm since I was little (big difference to long hours) but needs must?

  • Re: Should this be the last year of Big Brother?

I started off wanting to watch it, I turned it on last night and watched maybe 5 minutes and just switched over to watch some poor girl who's face had melted, I have to say it caused more emotion watching her than it did with Big Brother, I don't know if this year is going to be any good to be honest, why dont they make them do hard ...

  • Re: Is it time to ban Red Bull?

<takes a sip of his red bull> What do you mean ban it - how the hell would the British workforce be able to go out and party till the early hours midweek then get up and into work and have a almost "productive" day? In reality I'm far too old now at 32 with my 3 day hangovers to ever attempt going out midweek but those ...

  • PRS - Taking the P*ss??

Referring to the article on todays BBC News Website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7458671.stm  Now, I am all for artists getting paid what they are owed, but come on, we listen to Radio One in our office, firstly how is BBC Radio funded?  I maybe wrong but its through TV License's is it not?So not only do we pay our TV ...

  • RE: Supermarkets come top for green values says new poll

I dont see why they dont supply paper bags like in america, realistically who is going to carry re-useable bags with them everywhere they go on the off chance they will be doing some shopping. I keep getting given these big ''free'' reusable bags, which I keep forgetting to take shopping so I end up having to use plastic bags again when out ...

  • RE: Facebook wins battle for online attention

I always have MSN on in the background and usually sign into facebook when I turn my computer on check if I have any messages or annoying ''invitations'' then close the window as it winds me up when you click someones profile as it takes ages to load as they have so much. My time on FB has decreased massively in the past it was all the time, now ...

  • re: Big brother is watching you... Again!

To be honest I'm not really fussed, we are all on CCTV hundreds of times a day, which is something else I am not bothered about, so long as you are not doing anything wrong (to get arrested) or being harmed why is the problem? There are people and companies out there every day making money from us without us knowing, good on them for having an ...
