I have, on a couple of occasions now, been tweeting and watching TV... ...The Apprentice and BGT (semi-final night with the little girl who cried). It does highten the experience to know you're connected to complete strangers through their opinions of watching the exact same programming at the exact same time.

Great way of selling drinks, very reminiscent of Fat Les' Vindaloo from a few years ago. Couldn't have better weather to accompany the launch either.

Awareness, shmareness... Anyone with half a brain will remember a campaign that's been splattered over every available space for months now. Point is does anyone care they've been swallowed up by their parent company's brand? What does it mean to the average punter? Nada. So what? Where's the benefit? Bad, bad Norwich Union. Sorry, Meriva.

re: Creative copying

Maybe Sky+ or BBC iPlayer should look at this – someone who offers control over time and content. Right now I'm struggling a little to see how a normal TV spot will make the best of this idea.

Tell you what, the radio version for the campaign is very good too. I think it's an interesting strategy – moving on from the scientific argument that slower speeds kill less often. I'd be interested in knowing if it proves more effective. I agree with Nes, the endline is very memorable because of it's straight-talking simplicity.

Ignore the punters putting the work down for lacking strategy – just because some poncey planner hasn't come out and tried to post-rationalise your work as ''just their to raise a smile'' doesn't mean it's not memorable and effective. I wonder if Fallon had created this campaign if the same people would be dissing it!? Milk ...

Mmm. Lovely words Kevin. Nice rationale. If you've read Dave Trott's latest blog (on his recent D&AD judging experience) you might wonder whether he was talking about this piece of ''art''vertising. Doesn't move me (pun intended) – and I'm target market.

It is a very modern zoetrope mind... Nice soundtrack (sounds like Kasabian) and I guess the idea of using Kaka is the general complaint about football looking poor on an LCD screen. 200Mhz should take care of that ghosting – once again Sony at the head of the TV pack. Very nice work.
