About Fred Perkins

Founded and runs Information TV, which has 4 channels on Sky (as well as Freesat and Freeview. The company "incubates" TV broadcast propositions, making it possible to start TV broadcasting from as little as 30 minutes a week, all the way up to a 24/7 channel. The business was inspired after 7 years as CEO of The Stationery Office (the privatised HMSO, government's publisher). Before that, he was a Director of the Financial Times, running all electronic services.
