Twitter and advertising

Twitter keeps talking about advertising, but so far little sign of it being introduced. Some argue that Twitter isn't the right platform to generate significant amounts of advertising are they right?

according to me they are right bcoz twiiter is one of the best social networking site.

people likes to spread rumours, thts y i would like to say dont listen them.

I think that ads on Twitter will be a fact of life but if we can remove the spam nature and truly make it about sharing ideas for things we actually want; I think it can be of real benefit to the community.
