PRLog (Press Release) –
May 11, 2009 – Glastonbury Radio has today launched an FREE
ADVERTISING offer to entice the big ad agencies to bring their clients
to online digital radio and see the worth of "an audience surfing the
web whilst listening with a credit card in their hands"
Managing Director Ross Hemsworth said today "until now, advertisers
and agencies have seen radio mainly as a brand awareness tool rather
than a producer of actual sales as FM stations are often listened to
whilst people are on the move. However with online radio our listeners
are surfing the web with their credit cards in their hands and are
capable of an immediate purchase if the ad is enticing enough"
The new "FREE" deal means that bigger blue chip companies can get a
month's free advertising to test the marketplace before committing any
budget, such is the belief of Glastonbury Radio! It is certainly a
ground-breaking wya of showing how good the product is!
Glastonbury Radio broadcasts to a large global audience from
professional studios in Glastonbury Town Centre and have former Radio
One presenter Paul Burnett amongst their presentation team as well as
being a shareholder in the company.
Ross continued "many companies are now advertising online with some
success, but they still think of online radio networks as 'bedroom
DJ's' whereas many are now extremely professional with a loyal
following. Also, we have an interaction rate of 1 in 5, unlike FM who
have an interaction rate more like 1 in 100!"
We are entering a new era of broadcasting and online digital radio
is the future. We hope that this offer will bring the bigger companies
to the many online radio networks that are now available to the world
audience.
