A rushed-out-to-meet-the-christmas-market CD ad, which has been airing (to my knowledge) for the past few days. It's for an outfit called 'The Priests' and yes, they are real priests. The first time I heard it was in the gym changing room and since I wasn't actually looking at the plasma I thought it was a segment from Father Ted. Even when I watched it I expected Dougal to pop up at any time. It's bad and sad. Just like Lloyds.

Re: Nomination: Irritating ad of the year 2008

You don't work for Lloyds by any chance (directly or by proxy) do you?

Re: Nomination: Irritating ad of the year 2008

What a shame, I love those ads. I actually think that they are quite popular and that they have done well for the company. This sugest that they will be around for a while - sorry :)

Re: Nomination: Irritating ad of the year 2008

I hate the Lloyds TSB ads – all of them – as I cannot stand the warbling music on it - Eliza's Aria by Elena Kats-Chernin apparently.
