    Are you feeling the crunch?

This week's lPA Bellwether report said companies have been cutting their marketing budgets at the fastest rate since the September 11 terrorist attacks seven years ago. Worringly, the report said the marketing economy will get worse before it gets better.

Are you feeling feeling gloomy about the health of the industry? Have you cut budgets or is your client reigning in spend. Let us know.

Re: Are you feeling the bite?

Let's be honest, it's ROI or RIP! These are troubled times indeed. All we can do as an industry is keep demonstrating why it's so important to keep spending by delivering results that help our clients through the storm. That's the best, and only, justification that will wash with most marketers at this time.

Nope. But then again, as I am promoting a site - Junkk.com - that offers consumers a way to save pennies, pounds and also the planet along with, and marketers a way to reach such a more thrifty and eco-conscious audience for their wares (inc... or... especially their packaging), things look like they might just be starting to pick up:) Now if I can just find some partners to stop me giving it all away to help the old business model along, we'll be golden as well as green.
