Worst 3 adverts on TV at the moment

1 - Savlon. It's all going fine until they inexplicably say 'which is bad news for people who like to show off their wounds to their friends' and has a boy with fake wounds. Makes no sense is utterly pointless and embarrassing.

2 - BT. Just the sound of 'Do you ever feel like your love life is blah blah blah. Shut up Adam, no one cares. and if you're going to tell a stupid soap story then at least get some consistansy in the order.

3 - Tesco. It used to be Martin Clunes, but they can't afford him anymore, now they've gone with a washed up actor from The Full Monty who looks terrible, and the premise for the ads are just to god awful to even think about. Shameful.

    Just my opinion.

Far be it from me to fly in the face of client briefs, tastes, budgets and research, but one of my personal favourites is the one with the wee lad rather keen to 'do his No 2's' at his best mate's house. Quality, from script to execution to running it during the 9pm+ FX breaks, which is certainly when audiences like me need and appreciate such messages. Thing is, does it sell a shed load of product, or simply keep the brand values alive?

Having watched an awful lot of telly (don't ask) over the last week I can update my post.

AVIVA (Fecking hate it. Pointless. What the feck it it supposed to be communicating?)

GO AHEAD (I want to smack that smug trollop in the gob.)

TRAVELODGE (I just cannot stand the sight of Lenny (unfunny) Henry doing what he's been doing for the last 30 years.)

Moonpig when I first saw it screamed budget advertising to me but on reflection you have to ask four questions?

Do you remember what the ad was for? Yes...Moonpig (singing the jingle)

Do you remember what Moonpig does? Yes..I can send tailored birthday cards online.

Does anyone else do this? Not that I know of and so Moonpig doesn't need to shout about quality or jump onto the pretentious bandwagon of emotional brand engagement just yet.

Am I talking about this ad? Yes...word of mouth box ticked.

What more would you want from a launch?
