    Getting Started...

Does anyone have any advice for a small, but well established, company looking to find corporate advertising partners for a genuinely unique new online venture?

I am confident that our project has phenomenal potential, but it's hard to get a foot in the door even to explain the concept to marketing managers of large companies.

Has anyone had to overcome a similar problem in the past? Does anyone have any advice?

You have to have an angle, an edge, a clear point of difference that makes you unique by comparison to the competition. Marketing Directors get sick and tired of calls from people promising the earth. they want people who can deliver, and by that, I mean deliver results on the balance sheet. Remember, it's the marketing director who is going to get shot in the foot if you do not deliver. So you had better make sure you do. drop me an e-mail on tartankilt@live.co.uk if you want to discuss any further. Regards. K.

The biggest thing I can advise you to focus on is networking and advertising online. Technology today is a great tool for business. The internet can expose your business to just about anybody worldwide. The key is knowing where and how to advertise.

I've been using Biz Ad Splash.com to promote my home based hand bag site. It has been a really effective way to get my business on the map using the internet. It's affordable, easy to use, and does the work for you! So you can spend more time with your actual business. Give Biz Ad Splash a look and let me know what you think.

    Best of luck!

If the Company is small I wonder why you have 4 share owners :-( You can own 100%, if the Companies worth is zero after deductions, that what it is worth. So, if this is the scenario, the stock can be worth, say, one dollar, yes, buy them out for one dollar, releasing them from and allowing you to take responsibility of this company properly.
I HOPE YOU raise it up and have a great living!
This is my *opinion* (as an X small business owner) not fact as I do not know all laws of all States etc; etc; so please look them up for your State, yet I do think this applies ;-)
