A smidgen.
A tad.
A drop.
A pinch.
How fat are the person’s fingers who pinch?
How large is the neck of the vessel out of which a drop pours? How are you meant to know when a smidgen has outgrown its boots, and become more of a tad?
Lol and I are on a mission to find out and create an exact mathematical definition of these measurements. Is a tad 3cm? Is a smidgen the width of a knife? (which knife?) Is a drop the size of a tear? It depends how upset you are I suppose.
If anyone's any the wiser, please enlighten us as to how much these words actually measure. It would make reversing, cooking, serving slices of cake and brewing tea a whole heap easier.
