I'm in South Korea this week to check out the latest developments in emerging technology from one of the World's most innovative and forward thinking nations. From 3.5G mobile to the latest developments in broadband, I'm here to immerse myself in what's inevitably going to be hot elsewhere in the World in the next few years. And that surely must include the unbelievable Panasonic toilet in my hotel room...
Talk about emerging technologies. This toilet has more in common with a Nintendo Wii than a humble lav. Sir Thomas Crapper would be 'flushed' with pride. This thing has an array of options such as a heated seat (3 levels no less), a bidet spray which can be adjusted for warmth of water, angle of trajectory, rhythm, pulse and jet intensity. And if that wasn't enough it even has a button entitled FRONT with a cartoon picture of a lady on it. Charming. Can't wait to see what else Seoul has to offer but it's going to have to be pretty good to beat this epic throne.
