Agency websites suck. It's official. And every agency would (should) agree. I can't think of a single quality agency that has a website that truly reflects them (and their work) as an agency. That was until I came across this piece of genius from US agency Boone Oakley - a website as a YouTube vid. Can't think of anything more of the moment than that - other than maybe a company website made from Twitter, which wouldn't constitute social media a*sery . . .
I really do love this website too Chris - It's a brilliant, innovative way to show potential clients that these guys are different to the norm. I find your comment on "every agency would (should) agree that their website sucks" interesting - why do you think that?
Bizarrely I find that most agencies seem to draw a blind spot when it comes to communicating their own value + proposition really well. Maybe it's because these days the media landscapes changing so rapidly so once an agency launches a corporate site, it's kinda out of date.
Agency folk are also amazingly critical of anything within the industry (including themselves - or at least we @ Rubber are) - which doesn't help (or maybe it does, as it leads to improvement).
I'd also through in a healthy dose of the "we're really busy servicing clients and making cash" argument to the basket - which is the case of the more successful agencies . . .
I can honestly say that our website doesn't suck, check it out, I hope you'll agree.

I've just been there and it sucks.
It was going so well and then they ripped off The Simpsons with there The Ones ad. Still fun though.
I'm going to look at 3monkeys now. You see, this *** does work.

I have to agree with Martin - the 3 Monkey's site is v.2001. Flash heavy + no hint of a conversation (which should surely be a PRs core mantra) these days.
Yes, it's very nice. Simple. To the point. Clear.
i especially like the Shark selling icecreams.
