oOOo is my symbol for this Quick Peeks blog.

This was Prince's symbol:

I think Prince went wrong when he conjured up an unpronounceable symbol that no one could actually type, because it doesn't exist in font land, even in the most obscure font menu choices.

I've picked a symbol to represent me here on this blog, that anyone can find on a common keyboard, and Quick Peeks is easy to say.

What does oOOo represent?

• Binoculars.
• Reading Glasses.
• Spy glasses.
• Voyeruism.
  
• Peering through the looking glass.
• My love of old-fashioned ASCII.
• Two small case o's and two capital O's.
• This girl in France who I don't know, but seems to also be in love with oOOo as a symbol.
  
• This Yahoo! profile, who is not me.
• This blurry YouTube video, which as, oOoO, is more like a distant cousin to oOOo in the ASCII family.

I think oOOo will also make a great t-shirt, someday. I see MOO.com cards, I see MOO.com stickers -- I see a branding empire where people only communicate by sending ASCII secret code messages in drawings. Hmmm...well maybe not quite that far gone. But I have been known to say "bring back ASCII!"
