I couldn't agree more. The really ridiculous thing is that even the dead plastic phones get pilfered.

I’d like to see a little ‘testing bay’ or something to that effect. Like a changing room or something where you can go in and make calls, surf, etc. I’m sure all the big retailers could afford a few sims dedicated to such a service.

I did like the O2 and Vodafone offers that are out there at the minute where you get to take their broadband away for a week for free. I did hand both back very disappointed with the speed. Particularly the ad claims of 8MBs – it barely scraped over 1/3 of that at the best of times.

I agree its pleasing to do things yourself. My point is because of the way tech companies been communicating to us over the last 10 years, that most women (who are not tech literate like you) do not find pleasure in trying to set something up when you have no idea where to start, read a manual which will take time you don't have, or have to ask some spotty teenager in Currys who makes you feel like a complete idiot.

Hmm, not sure I agree - I'm always proud of myself when I know my tech.

My dad ordered a camera online a few weeks back... and when it arrived, he hated it. I told him he should order mine - and explained all the features and benefits. I felt somewhat smug when he agreed.

This week I kept getting messages that my "start up disc" was full... so I researched online and fixed the problem myself! Almost as pleasing as when I learnt how to change a car tire by myself.

In general, I think the reason people don't like online dating is because it's synonymous with feeling like you've given up on yourself.

Having watched Fanny Craddock last night,

and having lived through the Margaret Thatcher years,

I'm grateful not all women aspire to become the boss.

The truth of the matter is,

most men can't handle power-crazed women,

and neither can most women because

they are like men's brains in women's bodies.

Scary thought isn't it.

As the Holy Bible says:

"Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn"

and how true that is.

I wouldn't cross a woman,

but then I wouldn't cross a man either.

Is it a question of gender or a question of size?

Historically, most influential people are small:

Napoleon, Mussolini, Hitler

The smaller they are,

usually the more powerful they are,

and usually the more terrifying.

Perhaps for a man,

the ultimate terrorist is...

a small woman.

It would be interesting to hear other views.

The answer lies in the title of your post. Whether written by a bloke or a woman does not matter. You started deflated and finished same. So next time you start again, PUT your hand up !
