Because it was the name of a cops show in the 80s. Kinky was a hard-drinking maverick who, despite this, always got the job done while Choud was his unlikely partner - older, conventional and approaching retirement.

9.30 and the channel is showing a man envisioning having sex with a topless (butt ugly) woman who he wants to believe just ran in the Cheltenham Cup! Sounds like utter shite to me?! Unless Ron Jeremy was involved or a man with a choud – at least it would be funny!

To be fair, Virgin 1 has had some quality shows: the Terminator Sarah Connor show did well for them and is coming back for a second season and it has the David Mamet exec produced, Dennis Haysbert starring, The Unit. Okay thats all i know.
