I also agree that the BBC runs far too many promos for its own programmes and services. It's being run with an eye on &amp;nbsp;its commerical rivals instead of its public service remit which is a betrayal of its PSB duties. Not to mention unfair on those without the British taxpayer's largesse to fund its programmes.&lt;/p&gt;

The only thing might be that pushing government ads onto the BBC may result in consumers seeing them in the same light as party political broadcasts. And we all know that everyone switches over when they come on.&lt;/p&gt;
