It is not as the paper points out the most "illuminating" to begin with but it has got better. Well, it is a learning curve. Partly it has improved as it gets more chatty ("The minor whirlwhind continues with the PM now chatting with Hillary Clinton. I'll try to post a photo of The Residence later"), which is what it should be. It should be a conversation and not as some have already pointed out an RSS feed (that said I'm looking at a number of news feeds on my Twitter page -- although granted these can overwhelm you ,including BR's own...).
Maybe an indication of how far it has got to go. The Downing street Twitter feed has 1,384 when the Guardian went to press and that has now risen by 148 to just over 1,500 (but hey it went up by five in a matter of minutes).
