The Big Question!

I've been using Bing since the relaunch last week and, so far, I'm loving it enough to make it my default search engine *without* you asking me to :)...

A couple of things though....

The US always seems to get the innovative features first - what's the harm, for example, of including the Twitter search link under "more"? Why do we have to wait months for features that are suitable today? By all means, stick a beta tag on it.

Secondly - there is no transparent way to get my business listed under your local search? What database do you use? How can I add my business. I assumed it was fed from Thomson local (I believe Live Search once was) but I've been listed there for 3 months and I'm still not showing up.

Finally, and this is my biggest gripe - why does the UK not have links to the Bing Community, Webmaster section and Developer Toolbox - if you want to make headway in the UK market, you should be promoting these sections to get us web designers, and developers, to take Bing seriously.

As a search engine, you guys are starting to rock, but from a developer/designer point of view, you can improve by including the UK, rather than making us jump through hoops.

He's just caught in the act. Tube workers are smug self satisfied lazy and far too well paid. They're far too comfortable - ready to call a strike over petty ***. The outburst you refer to is an expression of that. Derek is a self made man unable to hide behind a protectionist union thus he has to work harder- good on him and ironic his good work is being celebrated by a search engine employee who is destroying his living

Someone on Twitter with 1,000+ followers is highly influential. I can imagine a brand seeking out people who already tweet positively and enthusiastically about them (or their space) and, in some way, sponsoring them... (e.g. tweet our content at least once a week in return for xx)... imagine having 100 influencers like this onside!

The problem is, brands with great products probably don't need to do this and those with bad ones probably couldn't
